Signs & Hemorrhoid Symptoms
The most common signs that you have hemorrhoids are bleeding during bowel movements and itching and pain in the rectal area. If your hemorrhoids are external, you most likely will be having pain because a hard lump has surfaced under the skin of your rectum. When you wipe after a bowel movement, there may be streaks of blood on the toilet paper. On the other hand, internal hemorrhoids cause rectal bleeding that will appear on toilet paper after wiping or may show up as red blood in the toilet after you have a regular bowel movement. Watch for any hemorrhoid symptoms so that you can begin treatment right away.
